An Introduction to Black Doves

In the opening moments of Black Doves, the audience is thrust into a chilling London winter. Helen Webb (Keira Knightley), a politician’s wife and undercover spy, learns of her lover Jason’s (Andrew Koji) murder. Summary

Helen and Sam were both recuited by the mysterious and ruthless Reed (Sarah Lancashire) who leaves her operatives in no doubt that any failure or perceived betrayal will be met with disownment and a target on their backs.

Visually, the series is striking, with its moody cinematography and atmospheric settings enhancing the storytelling.
